The project resumed construction on February 4th and aims to achieve trial production of the first phase in April.

[Main products include trifluoroacetic acid series products and hexafluoropropylene series products], on February 6th, announced the environmental impact assessment public notice for the relocation and technological transformation project of the 5,000-ton per year trifluoroacetic acid series products (5,190 tons per year trifluoroacetyl chloride, 4,027 tons per year trifluoroacetic acid, 2,500 tons per year trifluoroacetic acid ethyl ester, and by-products 8,200 tons per year hydrochloric acid, 3,150 tons per year sulfuric acid, 3,000 tons per year thionyl chloride) and the 3,000-ton per year hexafluoropropylene series products (2,400 tons per year hexafluoropropylene trimer, 600 tons per year hexafluoropropylene dimer {400 tons per year perfluoro-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane and 200 tons per year perfluoro-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane}) production line. The total investment of the project is approximately 356 million RMB, and the construction site is in the new energy and new materials park of Jiangshan Economic Development Zone, in the concentrated block of Sinochem projects.

• SUMITOMO [Business scope includes: pesticides, fertilizers, general chemicals, plastic sheets, etc.], on February 10th, announced that it has acquired the liquid crystal polymer (LCP) resin business of Belgian Syensqo Company.

• HEXAFLUO [Main business includes the research and development and production of high-end fluorine-containing fine chemicals and battery chemicals], on February 11th, announced the technical transformation project of perfluoropolyether and other fluorine materials products. The total investment of the project is 50 million RMB, and the construction site is in the industrial concentration zone of Mingxi County, Sanming City.

• Hunan Tianfu New Materials Co., Ltd. [A high-tech enterprise engaged in the research and development, production, application, and promotion of high-end polymer coating materials], on February 11th, applied for a patent named "A Method for Synthesizing Heptafluoropropanol Ether Using Hexafluoropropylene Oxide as Raw Material", with the application number CN 119390542 A, and the application date is November 2024.

• Shandong Zhongshan Photoelectric Materials Co., Ltd.
